New Music: Walk With Me

Artist Statement: So many times, songs about Jesus encourage a false sense of reality. I love this hymn because it speaks to the reality of what it means to be human, to know pain and hurt. I first recorded this as part of a documentary about the closure of a historically black school in Selma, Alabama. I wanted to release it now, as we as a country are going through a particularly dark period, and it might do us all a little good to not feel so alone on this journey.
